You’ll meet your expert Hygienist and review all of your smile goals and questions. We’ll identify your starting shade on our shade chart before getting started.
3. Treatment
We’ll begin with a gentle clean, polish, and floss for the ideal whitening canvas. Then we'll apply Glo Science whitening gel along with some gentle heat to activate the treatment for immediate results. You’ll have the option of 3 concentration strengths (24% - 30% - 40%) that your Hygienist will select based on your goals and sensitivity.
4. Shade Comparison & Smile Plan
After your treatment, your Hygienist will provide suggestions for at-home care tailored to your smile. We’ll go over your shade improvement and help develop a whitening plan based on your results, goals, and personal habits (coffee/tea consumption, smoking, etc.) to achieve your ideal smile.

    FAQ

    How many appointments are required during clear aligner treatment?

    Regular check-ups with your orthodontist are recommended throughout the treatment process to make sure teeth are moving appropriately and to address any issues that may arise. Some orthodontic offices offer remote monitoring options that can minimize the number of appointments needed in person. While this can be an added convenience for you, it also allows the orthodontist to be more regularly updated and involved with your ongoing treatment.

    What is the process for getting clear aligners?

    1. Scan in office (10-15 minutes)
    2. Production and shipping of the aligners (this step can take up to 6 weeks for some offices)
    3. Delivery of aligners, placement of attachments, how-to wear and care instructions, etc. (45 minutes -1 hour)

    How should aligners be cared for?

    Your orthodontist or a member of the orthodontist’s staff will brief you on brushing, flossing, toothpaste, rinses and other hygiene tools for your teeth, as well as any special instructions on cleaning your aligners. If you eat or drink anything besides tap water, remove your aligners first. Put them in their case, and put the case in a safe place. After you are done drinking or eating, brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in.

    What am I allowed to drink with aligners?

    Tap water is the only beverage that is safe to drink when your aligners are in. When wearing your aligners, avoid everything except tap water. You can remove your aligners to drink anything other than tap water. You’ll need to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in. Except for tap water, remove aligners when drinking. After drinking, brush right away before putting your aligners back in.
